Smoke Alarms
Little more can be added to what has already been said on the importance of smoke alarms. Personally I recommend and fit professional grade mains powered smoke & heat alarms with internal long life lithium rechargable batteries, which give both convenience and long term reliabilty. A full system would comprise interconnected alarms so that if any one unit detects smoke or heat all the alarms will sound. (Heat alarms are used in locations such as kitchens, where smoke alarms can be a nuisance when cooking)
